Easter Fair

The Parents Group will be holding an Easter Fair in the Key Stage 1 hall today starting at 3.30pm until4.30pm. There will be an Easter egg hunt, and Easter games devised by the children.  It will cost 50p to take part in the Easter egg hunt and 20p to try out the games.  Refreshments are also available at a small cost.

Easter Egg and Bonnet Competition

We wish to remind you again that we will be holding a decorated Easter egg competition again in school this year.  We have asked the children to bring their eggs as soon as they are finished to go on display in school. Judging will take place on Friday 3rd April and will be based on creativity, artistic merit and the pupil’s own work.

There will also be an Easter bonnet competition. Bonnets should be brought to school on Friday 3rd April for judging. There will be a prize for the winning egg and bonnet in each year group.

Concert Tickets

The Community play ‘The church on the Hill’ is being performed at St Thomas’ Church on Monday 30th March, Tuesday 31st March and Wednesday 1st April, to mark their 150th anniversary.   Several of our children are taking part in this.  Tickets are now on sale at a cost of £4.00 for adults and £2.00 for children.  Please see Mrs Wilson in the key stage 2 office.

School uniform

We are planning to place an order for school uniform on Friday 3rd April.  Order forms are available from the key stage 1 and 2 office.  Please return these along with payment by 9.00am Friday 3rd April at the latest.

Easter Raffle

A reminder that raffle tickets are on sale at £1.00 a strip from the school office prizes include Easter Eggs, a toiletry set and a piece of jewellery.  The raffle will be drawn on Wednesday 1st April; prizes can be collected from Mrs Loy in the Key Stage 1 office.

‘Kidz R Loud’

During the Easter holiday there will be a 3 day dance activity at Kingstone School for children aged 7-13; the cost is £25 for the 3 days or £10 per day. Please note that this activity has been organised by and is run by Kingstone School. We cannot take any bookings.

Easter Break

School will close next Friday 3rd April for two weeks Easter Break. School will re-open on Monday 20th April.
