Walk to School Week

Next week is walk to school week. Children and parents are being encouraged to join our ‘Walking Buses’ to walk to school safely together.

There will be two Walking Buses, one will leave from Dale Park at 8.40am and the other will leave from Netto Car Park at 8.45am.  Lots of families have signed up to join the Walking Buses but you can still come along and join in.

There will be a free breakfast at school next Friday morning for all the children who take part throughout the week.

Year 6 SATs

Year 6 took their SATs this week.  We had full attendance all week and are immensely proud of the mature way in which the children approached the tests and tried their best.  I am sure you will join us in saying well done to them all.

Summer Term Training Days

Training days for the summer term will be:

Monday June 1st

Monday July 20th

School will be closed to pupils on both of these days.  Please note that the school has changed these dates, we originally planned to close on Tuesday 2nd of June, but changed this to July 20th for practical reasons.    

IMPORTANT! - Contact Numbers

In recent weeks we have had difficulty in contacting some parents/carers when their child is ill.  This is usually because we have not been informed of changes to home and mobile telephone numbers.  Could all parents/carers please complete the slip below detailing your current telephone numbers and return it to school urgently so that all numbers can be checked?  These numbers are very important for us.  Thank you.
