Summer Reading Event

The Summer Reading Event has been topped off today with a ‘Favourite Book Character’ dressing up day. Well done to all of those children who have taken part and thank you to all parents and carers who have supported the event by coming into school to read to and with the children.

Year 2 Visit to Bolsover Castle

Thank you to all parents and carers who came along to help on the Year 2 trip to Bolsover Castle. The trip was a great success.

Sports day and Summer Fair

Sports Day is on Tuesday 14th July, weather permitting.

Foundation Stage                 10.15am-11.15am

Key Stage 1                         10.15am-11.15am

Key Stage 2                          1.30pm-3.30pm

FS2 (pm pupils)                     2.30pm-3.15pm

The Parent Fund Raising Group is holding a School Fair at the same time. We are asking for donations for the Tombola. This could be unwanted gifts, bottles or food and confectionary items. If have any of these items which you are willing to donate, please send/ bring them to the school office.

Year 6 Academy Visit

There will be a visit to the Barnsley Academy on Thursday next week, for all pupils moving there in September. If you have not received information from the Academy regarding this visit please contact the school.

Dinner money

A reminder that we break up for the summer on Friday 17th July, all dinner monies need to be paid by Thursday 16th July at the very latest.  Any out standing amounts will be forwarded to the Education Department who will recover these amounts, unfortunately further cost will be incurred so please pay prompt.  Thank you.
