Welcome back hope that everyone had a good half term break.
Sun Protection
Now that it is getting hotter can we remind parents and carers to make sure that sun creams are applied before children come to school and that they have an appropriate sun hat to wear in the playground? Please note that sunglasses are not allowed on the playground as these lead to bumps and collisions.
Summer Holiday Trip to Bridlington
The parents group is planning a summer holiday day trip to Bridlington. The trip is on the 17th August. The coach departs from Netto at 8.30a.m. and will leave Bridlington to return at 5.00pm. The cost is £6.00 per seat. All children must be accompanied by an adult over 18. Tickets are on sale from Mrs. Wilson on a first come basis.
Year 6 Rounders Final
Next Tuesday, 9th June our Year 6 Rounders team will be competing in the Rounders Final at Kingstone School.
Sports Kit – IMPORTANT REQUEST!
As our pupils are taking part in the above final next Tuesday could we please ask if anyone still has any school sports kit at home they bring it back into school next Monday morning. Please ensure this is returned as we do not currently have enough kit in school for the whole team. Thank you.
School Logo Uniform
We are planning to place the last order for school logo uniform for this school year in a couple of week’s time. If you wish to place an order please call into school and collect an order form from either the Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 office. Please return the order form, enclosing cash or a cheque made payable to The Edmunds Primary School Fund, by Friday 19th June at the very latest. Thank you.
Contact Telephone Numbers
We are still awaiting return of some of the contact number forms we sent out on 2 previous newsletters. It is very important that we have your child’s emergency contact number on file as not all parents contact school when numbers are changed. Please ensure all completed returns are sent to school as a matter of urgency. Thank you.
